AJP returns to the Tatts Finke Desert Race in Australia

The AJP Motos Australia Team will be present at the Tatts Finke Desert Race 2026, taking place from June 5 to 8 in Alice Springs, Northern Territory, Australia, one of the most iconic and demanding off-road races in the world.
First held in 1976, the event has become a landmark in Australasian motorsport and is widely regarded as one of the toughest desert races in the world. The race runs between Alice Springs and Aputula (Finke), crossing remote desert terrain defined by sand, high-speed sections and harsh conditions.
For the 2026 edition, the AJP Motos Australia Team will field three motorcycles, the SPR 310, SPR 510 and PR7, continuing their commitment to competing in one of the most demanding racing environments in the world.
All riders will compete as part of the AJP Motos Australia Team, with the project led on the ground by the Australian team.
The 2026 entry builds on their participation in 2025, where the team was already present with an SPR 510, reinforcing the continued development of AJP’s presence in the Australian off-road racing scene.
The Tatts Finke Desert Race attracts hundreds of competitors across bikes and cars and remains a key event in the Australasian off-road calendar, combining high-level competition with a strong community atmosphere.
Competing in Finke places AJP motorcycles in one of the most demanding real-world environments for off-road riding, highlighting both rider capability and machine performance under extreme desert conditions.
